Adoption announcement photos

I dug the piercing eyes, 

...and the adorable bubbles.

But my favorite part was seeing this little guy in the middle of some special moments with his new forever family.

Cloudy day waiting

Hilarity ensues when photography is relegated to the 30 or so seconds when the sun intermittently reveals itself on cloudy days--the mad rush to corral children who've been given cloud-related reprieve is rather funny!

Grandparents pay a visit

I captured these boys for their family's holiday photos just a few weeks ago, but the arrival of their grandparents merited a whole new session:

I'm going to close out 2011 with a few shots of my own kids.  Strangely enough, even though I dragged them out all dressed up for our own personal session, we didn't end up using any of these for our final holiday card!  I realized that we're never in urban settings and the images didn't reflect our lives.
